We are very glad to welcome a new publisher to our ranks – the esteemed UK-based academic publisher Boydell & Brewer.

Founded in 1978 by the merger of Boydell Press and D.S. Brewer, the press has long experience in medieval studies, the humanities, and classical music. In recent years, their partnerships with additional distribution client publishers around the world have brought expertise in diverse fields – African studies, German and American literature, Hispanic studies, and many other fields of study.

Perhaps their own introduction says it best: "Boydell & Brewer remains a defiantly independent publisher of scholarly works for the academic community and thought-provoking, attractively-produced books for the general reader."
